How many times weekly do you work out? How do you feel about your exercise program right now? You use only machines or you know how to manipulate the dumbels now as well? After two months of doing the same thing (with the same number of reps and sets?) maybe it's a good idea to change. Talk with your trainer or get one of the great exercise routines in here at FT.
After a hard work out your body needs to recover and YES rest is a good idea (but not everybody have time for that!).
Good luck to you!

i've been visiting the gym everyday since last wed., i only have 1 dumbell exercise (dumbell press), and about 6 machines and a couple of barbel exercises...its taking me anout 2 1/2 hr to complete the program (including warmup & cooldown)..i do see some results during the past month but i think its getting slower to see the results now...like my body gets tired but its rejecting the real effect
