I was sparring last night with a friend and caught an elbow on the lower portion of my bicep towards my elbow. When this happened I got severe pain from that point on into today. The pain has subsided a bit, but my concern is if I did permanent damage or not. It looks like it is going to bruise, but how do I know if it's torn. It's still extremely swollen and when I flex it looks significantly different than what it used to look like but I don't know if that is because it's swollen or if it was torn? Until then I've started icing it and stopped lifting until I get into the doctor's. Thought I'd post here first though to see anyone's opinion.
