I'm a 30 y/o male who was a hard core couch potato for about 2-3 yrs. Then i had a bad asthma attack and took a real hard look at myself in the mirror.(Literally) About two and a half years ago I weighed 275 lbs, today I weigh 225-230 lbs. I had surgery on my back when I was 15 yrs, and then again around two years ago. The first one went fine but the second one has left my right leg heavy and weak. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on where I should start?
The best thing to do is make a change in your diet. Eating in a way that speeds up your metabolism is a easy way to loose weight. Staying on the alkaline diet is a good way to get
the energy you need to stay active. You can look up the akaline diet on the web, this is really good for helping people loose weight naturally.
I completely agree. Keeping your body alkaline 'most of the time', in general, is an excellent way to stay healthy. Personally, I don't like to think of it as a 'diet', more of a general awareness. Keeping your body's PH levels in balance has proved to be immensely benefecial to your health. As a starting point, while there are (of course) 'diets' out there, here is a bit more info and a list of foods considered to be alkalinic: http://www.energiseforlife.com/list_of_alkaline_foods
