I am needing to lose some serious weight. I don't eat fish or seafood, so alot of diet plans are out of the question for me. I have had several surgeries due to female problems, so my belly is horrible. Any suggestions on food that I can eat that will keep me from being so hungry and also low on calories. I am willing to take any suggestions on how to help me lose this weight.

Hi swestbrooks and welcome.  Since you don't eat certain foods that provide most of your omega 3's (oils=fish), flaxseed is a good supplement for that.  But first, i'd like to direct you to the Nutrition link we have here.  At the top of the page click on "Nutrition", go through each of the articles to the left of your page (Nutrition Basics, Proteins, Carbs & Fats, Nutrition and Exercise and the Nutrition FAQs) read them all.  This will give you a better understanding of why you need to eat what you do and how it will effect your body.  Second, I have signed onto one of the Exercise Programs on here yet for Weight Loss?  If not, you can start that at the top of the page as well by clicking "Exercise" and follow the directions on there.  A combination of exercise and diet will help you reach your goals.  You need a good balance of healthy carbs and protein along with fiber.
