Hi!
I am 18 and I'm not exactly over weight but I'm not happy with my weight right now (135 lbs) my goal is to lose 10 lbs but I am afraid to fail! Does anyone have any tips to keep me motivated?

Small steps! :) Don't get overwhelmed. Losing 1lb per week is very reasonable and won't put too much pressure on you. You'll have to share what your current fitness / diet is like so we can help you make adjustments.

Best of luck and welcome to FreeTrainers!

--- I think the most valuable lesson I've learned in life was to change how I look at things. Failure can be a good thing if you look at it from another angle. When you fail...you've gained experience. You can choose to find a lesson to learn and get back up to try again. If option "A" doesn't work - try option "B" or Option "A" with a modification. With this view - there's no such thing as "failure".

I like this quote from Thomas Edison:

I never view mistakes as failures.
They are simply opportunities
to find out what doesn't work.

Good luck to you and keep us posted on your lessons learned :)

Here is fine or in one of the groups or in your fitness log. Take a look at the challenge group. It's a good place to start.  Welcome here.

Welcome and good luck! Take the word failure out of your vocabulary.  Start off with a positive outlook and you can do anything.

Failure is not an option!!!! But when it comes to failure, it bettere to put you heart and soul into than just to quit. We all can accept failure but can not accept quiting. I rather miss my goal than to quit because i missed it by a small amount. You have to find the victories in the failure you will come across. Good luck and keep training!

You only fail when you stop trying!! so dont give up keep telling yourself to keep going no matter what! dont let others brign you down or pressure you to do more than you are comfortable with! :)
