Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Frank and im from San Jose, CA.

I just started working out for the first time in my life and I’ve set some personal goals. I have a few motivations this time, I signed up for Tough mudder in Sept so i need to be fit for that, no turning back! I want to also prove to all the people who called me fat or unfit wrong, i want to be able to flex and have my shirt off during the summer and not look like a big fat kid who loves cake...

I’m currently 5'8, 196lbs.
My Current goals:
by 4/20/12 (las vegas vacation),I’d like to lose 20+ lbs.
by 6/13/12 (bday) I’d like to lose a total of 30+ lbs,
and by 9/20 (tough mudder) I’d like to be physically fit in the correct BMI weight and eating healthy..
Once my goals are complete i want to continue to strive and maybe sign up and try a mini triathlon

If you have any information to help me achieve my goals please do share. Currently im swimming for an hour monday-thursday with a mix of freestyle and breast strokes. I will be running next week and biking/stairs the following. Then will start incorporating them with each other. I signed up for a 24hr membership for 2 years so i better put it to use! If you also live in the SJ area and need someone to work out with by running/biking/swimming let me know maybe we can encourage each other to reach our goals.

Welcome to FreeTrainers, it's great to have you here with us! I also know a few friends getting involved in the Tough mudder, it's a great plan!

You seem to have a great plan already in place for your training, if you wish to add weight training to your week then create your free exercise gym plan with us (Exercise > Find a Workout) and choose the days you have available to exercise - we'll do the rest!
