Well, I'm fairly new here- just really began tinkering around with my (lost) profile a week or so ago.
My main focus nowadays is to get myself to a healthier level and to (for once) be confidant with the body I have. What's kick started my current trend is the fact that at 205 lbs I now weigh more than I did when I was 9 months pregnant with my son. After the C-section I used the excuse that my core was too weak to manage most exercise fads (I was big into pilates and yoga while pregnant)... and that just began the spiralling whirlwind into obesity.
Over the course of one month I have opted out heels for my Sketchers and have actually toned enough so that I am able to slide the jeans I just bought last month off without unbuttoning them (trust me- a HUGE sigh of relief from this end). However, the tiny bikinni I wore the summer after I had my son is still glaring at me whenever I dive into the cycle of emotional binging during finals week.
I would really appreciate any advice anyone has in regards to how I can best lose the weight, tone my problem areas, but also "improve" specifics-- i.e. lift, build, and shape the buttocks, tighten and lift breasts, shape and tone the back and shoulders, etc.
Thank you everyone for providing such a great sight and virtual community. Reading some of these posts really gets me motivated and excited to begin.
Here's to wearing a bikinni proudly this coming June!

Great to have you with us, thank you for sharing your story and we look forward to helping you along the way.
A great group for you to join would be the baby weight group which I can see you've joined. Post your specific questions there as that is geared towards those goals.
Again, come by often, stay involved, share your progress and help motivate others.
We're here to do this all together!

Hey Esherwood,
My advice interms of post baby exercises are; Push/press ups, front & side crunches, the plank, loads & loads of squats and lunges too!
My daughter is 9 months and although she has been kind to the old body, my 5 year old saw me running mile around the park to shed the 5.5 stones.
swimming helps too!
I am by no means a 'know it all', just trying to give the kind of advice I would have loved prior to seeing holiday pics of myself with disgust!
Lets keep each other motivated!
