Hey Hot Mama,
Are you currently breasfeeding>? If so, then you need more calories than normal. Since you would be producing food to feed the baby. "Diet" isnt something you need to worry about if you are. If you are not breastfeeding, it still takes awhile for tour body to adjust to 'not being pregnant' again. Just eat healthy, fruits, veggies, lean protein, non-starchy foods. Start out slow with everything. Walk/jogging, light weights, pilates are all good workouts to start off on after having a baby. Do you have an exercise ball that you can do light crunches/sit ups on? Are you currently going to a gym or are you workingout at home? Sometimes exercise videos are the best after having a baby since you can do them when the baby is sleeping or any extra time you get un-expectedly. Then go on the walks and runs with the baby as weather permits. These are just some things that came off the top of my head when reading your post. I have a son who is now 7 and I still remember feeling the same way you are, after having him.
Thanks,
Simone
