Just as important as your workout and nutrition plan - but so easily overlooked.

not sure what's happening

I have a lupm on the front of my pelvic area right on the front where my leg hinges to my nip. I know it's the area of lymph nodes. It is about 1 3/8 long and 1/4 " across. If I didn't know better I'd think it was a vaticose vein. It does not hurt. The place it's located is where you hurt when you haven't done crunches in a long time but again , no pain. We have a high deductible insurance plan and the bastards make sport of raising rates. I just wonder how long I should give it to go away on it's own or should I bite the bullet and go to the doctor.

I don't remember injuring myself. It doesn't hurt to crunch. I did do my first long swim 3 days ago and that's when I noticed it. I'm wondering if frog kicking for an hour and a half could have anything to do with it. Ant thoughts?

I'd go see a doc. It might be nothing, but one shouldn't take a chance with a lump.

Can you believe there are people in the US who disdain Canadian health care? The soonest I can get in is next week. I'll make the appointment. If it goes away over the weekend I'll just cancel. Still no pain or discomfort. I have dropped abs from my workout at the moment. Thanks Tim.

Hm.. not sure the wait time would be any different here, really.

It's not the wait. We are insured as individuals in our late 50s. Our premium is $24,000 a year. I have to worry about rate increases. I sold my business to move and care for my wife's moyher until she passed. Lost my group coverage...

I'd kill for Canadian healt care. Right wing propaganda here has the majority convinced that Canadians are communists and totally controlled by their government. It's very frustrating and scary. I'm 6 years from Medicare. I hope I can survive until then. Most of us are one serious illness away from bankruptcy.

I hear the horror stories once in a while... our system has it's challenges for sure, but being able to walk in and get most things looked at and taken care of is wonderful.  Surgeries can be an issue apparently, but overall, we have it pretty good.  I guess that's the trade off for months of 40 below.

I consider the average Canadian to be a good bit more enlightened than the average citizen of the US.  The US populace is the best entertained and least informed people on the planet. And we're heavily armed. There's a moment of Zen...

Apparently it's just a lump. If it gets bigger or hurts I need to go back. Otherwise no worries. The human body is a baffling thing. I have to cope with this. I'm not perfect anymore...
