I have the liquid form of L-Carnitine. It says to take on an empty stomach, and it gets me nauseous. But when am I supposed to take it? The directions just say one to two times a day. Im hoping it is effective with weight loss. Is this product even necessary?
Timing for Carnitine has never really been firmly established. I know of people that will just pour it into a shake and take it like that.
However, the effectiveness of Carnitine is debatable. It is known that it will only be effective if you have a shortage of it; it is nothing that your body can build up and store to increase how well it is used.
