Well not knowing your age or sex, it is really hard to give you good information. Clean diet and working hard at the gym, with cardio will give you fefinition.

Hi, summerw, I going to start my leaning phase next week where at the end of 12 weeks I will be so cut I will look like that muscle skelton in a science class. It takes hard work and dedication to get that cut look. You have to lower your bodyfat. Lots of protein, low carb diet, will give you that cut. This is just a piece of the cake, there really is alot more to it. I have only been weight training for 11 months, the first time I leaned out was in the body for life program, This time I will be on stage.
-------------- I will lift my own weight someday!!!!!

BUT JUST WHAT IS LOW CARB FOR ME. I JUST STARTED A 1200 CALORIE A DAY PLAN-100 PROTEIN--50 CARB--20 FAT. HAVE NO IDEA REALLY IF THIS IS A GOOD PLAN TO LOSE WEIGHT--MAINLY FAT-- I JUST WANT TO BE SMALLER. I KNOW, I KNOW...MUSCLE WEIGHTS MORE THAN FAT.

One very important detail to your plan, you mention in your post you are using lighter weight with more reps. Do not do this, do not drop your weights. You will lose muscle in a hurry this way. Your diet holds the key.
