I want to not only work out and tone up I am watching how I eat. Standing in at 6'2" and weighting in at 255, i am allowed alot of calories, I believe i'm allowed 3963 cal, about 650g something carbs, 256g proteins and only 48g of fat. to be at my ideal weight which is around 195lbs - 200lbs I can only intake no more then 2002 calories, my question is, should I also maintain low carbs and fat, but stay up on the proteins. Please Help, cause I woke up the other day and said to myself that I needed to change, and this is why I'm so determine and also open to any ideas. Thanks

Hi richmat, welcome to ft. 2000 cals is not a lot depending on what your workouts are like. Believe it or not eating will hekp you loose the fat (that is eating right)Keeping the carbs and fats low while consuming higher levels of protein say 1 to 1.5g per lb of body weight and as much as 2g if you are really lifting. What type of workout program are you doing lifting and cardio both?. If you eat about 5 to 6 meals a day say every 3 hours this will help speed up your motabilism and burn calories just digesting. mind you keep your food clean no snacky stuff other than a weekly treat.
