Well I am so happy I found this place; full of information and informative people willing to help each other out.

I'm on my second day of workout and I have noticed when doing the Dips behind back my wrists get really sore. Is this from not enough strength? Or is this building my forearms up some? Thanks again

Are you doing dips on a bench or on a dip stand?
If you are new to dips you may want to ease into it by starting with your hands on one bench and your feet on another - this takes up some of your bodyweight and eases the stress on your wrists. Or you could see if your gym has an assissted dip station - dips are hard on your shoulders and wrists if you haven't built up a solid strength base. Work up to your own bodyweight gradually.
Good luck.

I'm no way new to weight training (it has been 10 years now...) but my wrists still get sore when I do dips.

I still do them but always only several small sets.

Don't stop completely but try slowly to build up the strength as asimmer said...... Good luck!
