My 12 week program suggested acalorie intake of 3700 / day How can I possibly lose weight ? I'm eating less then that now ?

Yes it seems high. First you need to find your needed daily calorie intake.
There was once a great post in here about this....... Try to do a search.

I'm 5'10" and 240lbs. Large Framed I'm shooting for 210 to 225 lbs.

I come up with about 2,880 calories for the lower range of calories for your bodyweight. 3700 seems a little excessive. Try eating five to six small meals a day of lean protein (probably two chicken breasts is a serving for you), a cup of rice or oatmeal and lots of green vegetables - you will feel good, have more energy and not worry too much about calories. If you find you are hungry inbetween meals you could try a lower carb protein shake. You probably have a lot of muscle mass, so keep up the protein. Good luck!
