hi, i started working out one body part only once a week.... is that suffecent for muscle growth or should i be working out the same body part at least twice a week toincrease muscle growth... i started about 1 month ago and have seen other guys who started at the same time develop faster...

Be careful of what works for the next guy thing. We are all basically the same, yet different, and respond to things differently. My advice would be to go ahead and try it, give it 2-4 weeks, if you are making gains and happy, then it is good for you. Go 8-10 weeks, and change things up. If it isn't working for you in that time, then try another method. Find what works for you, then base all your workouts around that protocol. Hope this makes sense. And remember, no matter how much or hard you train or what method you use, your nutrition will determine your amount of growth.

thanks for the advise...helps a lot.... another question....i'm currently still in school and most of the times i dont have time to eat a proper meal...i started taking N-Large protien shake to help suplement....when is a good time to take the shakes..after a work out...and how many times a day?
