Burpees and lunges were invented by Satan. We called burpees "squat thrust" in boot camp but with a push up and a jump added they are a bitch especially 42 years after boot camp.
I'll be adding to it here as time permits. It's surprising how difficult body weight exercises can become.
Kayaking into a quartering wind is murderous. We lived on a boat for 8 years and would kayak in warm weather and canoe in the cold. It was always choppier in the cold. The worst part about paddling anything in the winter seemed to be that you paddled to the halfway point in zero wind. It makes you believe you can go further. The second you point the bow at home, you're in a 20 mph cross wind , heavy chop and you just have to pound it to get home.
Let me know when you've worked through these. The crucifix push up seemed as impossible to me as a wide grip chin but I cand do 10 of each now. I still use dumbbells but I'm reevaluating that.
I use a power tower. It has lot's of uses. It's cheap even if you buy used which I did for $75. It's light weight. It is relatively small for what it does.
I'm on my power tower swinging in that picture you commented on. I can't hold it but I can swing up for a second or two. Bolt your tower down if you do that . It is a little nuts and the tower isn't the best way to practice.
