Do as many regular push ups as possible, then go to an easier type push up, i.e. try to rest on your knees instead of your feet as you do the push up.

I do all 4 sets of each exercise before moving on to the next one.

There are lots of folks who can't do 1 pushup, so don't be concerned. For just beginning, you are doing great. I would recommend doing as many as possible toward your goal reps each set, you will eventually be able to do them all. It is like trying to bench a certain weight. When you first start, you may only be able to do 5 instead of 8, but keep doing them, and you will soon be able to do all 8. We all have to start somewhere. Good luck....

It will come. You gotta start somewhere. Just think in a couple of months you will be able to break that goal and try to reach another. Just keeping trying and keep the motivation. It will happen.
