muscle failor??

when doing sets should i go by how many reps my program says or should i go to muscle failor every set? thanks. I increase the wieght on each set also...

Now, this is my personal workout routine, but I only do one repitition of every exercise. I do a warm-up set, and then I do the exercise until muscle failure. I have found that this works better for me. Maybe you should try it once, and see how you like it, and then you can go back to your normal repititions.

Last workout routine I did called for working to failure on the last set of each muscle group. Seemed like a good compromise to me and I was happy with the results.

stick to more reps than failure. Failure is a great way to workout out once in a while. Just don't make it a habit because you might end up overtraining which you do not want to do.

yes they are right stick to reps, you dont want to overtrain leaving yourself so sore and weak that you can barely hit the gym the next day...start of slow and then once time progresses going to failure can benefit you in some ways...like your abs for example...
