Trail mix is a healthy snack, but is really better for people who are physically active. The good calories in trail mix give you alot of energy to work out, or to go jogging. The bad thing about this is if you don't do any kind of exercise it can turn those healthy calories into fat. This still could be the best thing to eat before a work out because of the energy it provides and there are other health benefits to eating trail mix.
