legs + running?

Hi!
I do a lot of running, so does my leg workout have to be as frequent or as intensive as my other muscle workouts?

What are your goals?
You want big muscular legs or just toned nice looking ones?!! (o;
Running is great for cardio training (and to loose weight) but really to shape those legs you need a certain resistance. If your legs are one of your "weak" areas then I'll suggest to work them with weights twice a week -not taking too heavy and 3-5 sets of 12-20 repetitions.
You can still run once or twice a week as well.

Hi! I also do alot of running but i don't want big calves. I'm really building too much calf muscle. It rather have lean legs instead of muscular and big ones. You talked about resistance. What do you mean and how do i go about with my plan? Do i take less protein?

If you are a competitive runner, and are looking for speed, then yes, leg exercises are important. Otherwise like philia said it is just cardio training.

RESISTANCE TRAINING IS JUST ANOTHER WORK FOR WEIGHT TRAINING.........
