I injured my knee about 4 months ago. It's not totally healed but I can still walk and ride my bike. If I know I'm doing some heavy pedaling I wear a knee brace. My dad said I need to take in more calcium.

Well guess what, your dad is right. calcium will help keep your bones strong and healthy. Make sure to ice your knee daily also.

I have an acl injury I am 56 the doctor says I am to old for surgery I don't mind that but I do not want to reinjure my knee I have an old schwin excercise bike. I can almost ride for 10 minutes which I think is pretty sad. I want to lose 22 lbs or at least 15. I am going to adress a different health problem which is heart burn I think to get rid of the acid feeling I might have started eating more I also have thyroid problems but that has been very stable. I am about to get a new dog just 5 1/2 months old. I already have an old dog so I will be walking two dogs daily. The physical therapist said walking did not really improve my knee.
