Strained Lower Arm Muscle

After a wrestling match with my coach today I seem to have strained a muscle. I got a raised lump the size of my palm (about half a cm raised) below the inside of my elbow. I started stretching it right away to try to get it away and prevent my muscle from knotting and I've been using liniment on it and massaging it intermittently for the past 6 hours. Am I doing the right thing?

Ice, very cold 5 3-5 times a day. Best if used immediately at point of injury.

Don't massage it!! You can just make it worse.
As ltroisi says put some ice on it, get some rest and then see how it goes.
