Maybe it's just a small fat lump. No that's not dangerous at all (lots of people have those) It can just be esthetic annoying.

It might not hurt to get it checked out for peace of mind ... they're usually harmless, like Nina pointed out, but your bowels can get twisted, resulting in partial or complete blockage of the intestine in severe cases.

initially, they are usually no problem. but they do not go away on their own, and the longer you delay the repair, the more involved the surgery can be, and the more dangerous they can become. when i was a surgical tech, we used to do these all the time - like removing tonsils (LOL); when they are minor, its usually an outpatient surgery, and is usually done liposcopically. best thing to do, is just get it checked out. good luck..........

i went to the emergency room this morning and the doc said it was just a pulled muscle in the left groin and to put heat on it and it should be better in a few days.but now as the day goes on i am getting a mild pain in my left testicle and a mild pain in my groin. i still think i have a hernia these are the symptons of a hernia i see my regular doctor on tuesday. on a pulled muscle would i not be crippled i still move around like nothing happen there except for the mild pain i mentioned above.i have lost 4 inches in my waist my cardio is alot stronger i just quit smoking. i have been busting my butt for three months and i look good and feel good i amm almost to the point to see my abs i am so bummed if this is a hernia does that mean no work outs at all even the upper body anyone..................... thanks

with the pain in the testical, etc.: when u c ur doc on tues, if he rules out the hernia, consider a possible lower back injury. a pinched nerve, due to a partially swollen or slipped disc, from the T-Vertebrae (mid-back) all the way down can sometimes cause pain, sometimes major, in the groin and testicle area.
hope that helps.......

i jst ran 3 miles this morning no pain at all do you think i can weight train now isee my doc on tuesday i am going crazy anyone.............

Well I would say that if you can run (which is quite violent to the body...) then yes, you can weight train as well.....
If it's a very good idea I'm not sure.
Don't take heavy and if it hurts, maybe it would then be a very good idea to stop and wait to see what the dear doc might say.
