I have a question: I tend to tense the muscles in my back and neck throughout the day (due to stress?! I don't know...), but lately, I've been noticing that no matter WHAT type of exercise that I am engaging in, I always finish with neck or back pain... I'm not sure what my question is exactly=), but I tend to dread exercising now because it leaves my neck and back hurting! Even when I consciously concentrate on relaxing, the difference isn't that noticable... any advice/help??

Have you ever tried stretching b4 and after training? Make sure you breathe properly while training.

I actually do both yoga and pilates already -- but even when i do these two types of exercising, which is very relaxing, I still end up with pain in my neck/back... I'm just not sure what to do now because I already do the stretching, etc...

thanks for your suggestions though;)...

If it is pain have it checked by a dr. If it is tense then relax!

Could it just be soar muscles? After my back/shoulder day my neck and back just kill. A nice bath usually makes me feel a bit better, but the soarness stays. Maybe we just need full time massage therapists at our homes. =)
