maybe you're not eating enough. 1200 calories is pretty low, but then again I don't know anything about you, so maybe you could fill out your showcase profile and tell us something about yourself.

Don't go by just the scale weight. Also track your measurements and bodyfat. You may be adding lean body mass...i.e muscle. Your metabolism increases approx. 50 calaries per day with each new pd. of muscle! Check it out ...if this is not the case maybe your met. is slower from dieting...then Zig Zag calories up a few days then drop down again.

How often do you eat? You should be eating anywhere from 4-7 times a day, especially if you are working out.

If you starve yourself for to long, your body will literally think it's starving and slow your metabolism to a crawl. You need to make sure that you "cycle" your dieting, so as not to cause your metabolism to slow. Proper nutrition is very important to lowing fat.

What I have found best for me even as a male is about 1300 calories per day, do not eat past 7pm at the very latest, spread your calories out over the coarse of the day as evenly as you can. Water, Water, Water, lots of it. Keep up with the cardio take a good multi vitamin and I supplement with Xenadrine RFA-1, 1 a day and it gives me the energy boost and metabolism boost that I need. When I started I lost 5 lbs. in 4 days and averaged 3 a week until I hit my goal weight and then I changed from focusing mainly on cardio to cardio 3 times a week and focusing more on weight training and toning and building lean muscle mass and I have actually started gaining a bit of weight but its all lean muscle mass.
