A good "liquid" meal may be beneficial for you due to your time constraints. Will fuel you, without giving that heavy feeling you are speaking of. If you haven't already, you may want to invest in a good MRP. "Liquid" meals also have been shown to enter your system faster than a whole food meal, thus giving you energy sooner. A less attractive option may be getting up earlier (LOL),and having a cup of oatmeal and a couple eggwhites or a 5 oz. or so piece of chicken breast.

I've been working out very early in the mornings for a very long time......
One protein shake in water works for me (I cannot handle any "heavy" food in my tummy while training.....)

Hi.
I work out before the birds get up too. I hit the gym at 5:00 am for weights and cardio.
I take a myoplex shake for the road. I do the weights and then the cardio. This has been working for me. Before I did it on an empty stomach and I had a tough time. Try it and see if it works for you.

Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Your body need energy to work right? Well amino acids (proteins) in a shake with water is sufficient for me........

I eat my morning oats AFTER the work out.

Hi local gurl, just try and see what will work for you!
