Help! I can't seem to get rid of my boyish figure. I have no hips and no waistline. I am following the ft routine which suggest doing 2 sets of 15 reps of seated twists. This is not enough. What else can I do? I have a 26-27 waist. I want a 24!!

Are you carrying fat around the middle? The reason you have a boyish figure (I've got the same square build) is because you have narrow hips, not a wide waist. Check your body fat and trim up if you want to, it may help.

Unfortuantely, you cannot target fat loss if that is your problem. If your fat is just around your waist, with proper diet and training it will come off. Seated twists will not produce fat loss there. May build a little muscle around there, which may result in some fat loss just by what muscle does, but that is all. Here is a thought, work on widening your back and shoulders. This will build muscle there for aiding in fat loss, and will give the appearance of a smaller waist. Sometimes we have to change other parts of our body to compensate for a stubborn one.

Follow a healthy diet, do lots of heavy deep squats and get some muscle mass on your shoulders.

You'll see, just like in magic your waist will look a lot smaller!!
