Good fats come from fish like salmon tuna mackeral, flax seed, olive oil, peanuts, almonds. Hope this gives you some ideas.

Fish contain toxins from the water, so it's up to you if you want to eat it or not. Avacado, fresh coconut, fresh raw olives and nuts that don't need to be cooked before eating (walnuts, pecans, almonds) are great sources of "good" fats. Be sure to sprinkle flax seeds over everything you eat, they are great for you! :)

I haven't had any problems with fish myself. I suppose it's certainly possible to contract toxins however, the nutritional benefits of fish are hard to discount. Great source of protein and Omega-3 fats.

I've been reading about the levels of mercury in fish that they are now saying are getting quite high. Seems like everything in moderation...

Yeah, it's sad. I eat tuna a minimum of 4 times a week. I hope I don't turn into some freakish bicylist that runs over squirrels or something like the movies. lol

I don't think there is a problem with tuna yet!

They say the amount of mercury in tuna won't hurt you. It COULD however, do damage if you're carrying a child. My Mama craved tuna all the time with me and I came out just great!!! Right ?:laugh:

Make sure if you do use flax seeds that you crush or soak them in water so your body can digest them. Otherwise, they'll just go in & out with no health bene.:)
