That post pregnancy fat is definitely hard to get rid of. If it is fat you wish to get rid of - try the abdominal blast they have on this site - it is very good. But, you will not see your abs unless you fix your diet too - you cannot target specific areas to loose weight in - the body decides where and whenthe fat comes off - but the good news is that it will come off.

ooh but the plank pose from yoga or is it pilates.. well anyway, the plank pose REALLY works your abs and engages the whole thing instead of just one part

Everybody in here has said good things. A good ab exercice to "target" the lower part is lie on the back legs straight in the air and now lift your behind. I use to say to people to try pushing the roof with their heels (not the toes). It works........ (o;

another really good exercise is to use a fitness ball and place it between your thighs and do leg lifts with your feet arched. Man do you feel an awesome burning with that.
