I'm THE typical woman when it comes to body shape. Every ounce of weight gain goes to my thighs & butt! My upper body has responded very well to weight training, arms, chest & back are well-defined. However, my legs are the challenge. I'd prefer to get them leaner before going heavy on weights and from experience, running seemed to do the trick. My knees just can't take the pounding from running anymore so I've switched to step aerobics for cardio purposes.
Any tips for inner thighs & butt would be greatly appreciated!
*note that my quads tend to build quickly so I'd prefer to go light with them*

Actually it's not only the lower body you need to change it's the upper and THEN the lower will follow. We talked about this so many times, I'll bump a great post for you and then you'll read everything about it.........

Now that's a change!! lol
Don't me afraid of lifting heavy and go for squats and lunges as main exercises. AND of course you'll need to eat alot of proteins..... (and stop doing endless hours of cardio).
Good luck!!

Try doing the elleptical trainer. It is very easy on the knees and gets a good sweat going. The stationary bike is what all of our docs recommend when we have knee injuries or of course swimming. Tis the season for swimming.
