Hi ladies,
How many times do you wash your hair each day? There are times when I could wash up to 3 times a day depending on when I workout :p (split up cardio/weights/morning shower for example)
What do you do with your manes to keep them healthy while you're keeping your bodies healthy?

Once a day....
Then I look in the mirror - hmmmmm. Forget my opinion, for obvious reasons.

LOL @ rev8ball
Only 1 shamppoing, regardless of the amount of showers I take - otherwise it would probably get too dry. Conditioner twice a week.

I wash mine once a day with shampoo and conditioner. I use a lot of gel and hairspray to keep it up, so I have to wash it when I get home from work. I hate all the gunk in my hair.

Every other day! :) I was told by my hairdresser that every other day is much healthier than daily as it is less drying and damaging to the hair.

I'm an every other day gal. Hairdressers will tell you that washing EVERY day damages the hair & I can tell the healthy difference in my hair since I stopped the daily washing. My hair is naturally curly so the days I don't wash, I do rinse it thoroughly & then lightly condition it....style as usual. Seems to freshen it from the workouts.

I am a cosmetologist and I wash my hair everyday. If you use a good quality shampoo that is low in PH, no more damage will be done to your hair by washing it everyday. I condition every time I shampoo, but I have considerable damage done to my hair due to color treatments.

I have naturally curly/course hair. My hairdresser recommends light conditioner on my hair when I shower. Only wash when you must. I know it sounds disgusting, but I honestly only wash my hair about once every two weeks. It is in 100% better condition than it was 6 mos. ago(when I started this). Also--when not washing hair, you can mist hair with a mixture of lavender oil/water. Just a few drops to a pint of water. Lavender oil has cleansing properties.

Wow! Lots of variety out there. Guess it just depends on your hair. I highlight mine and blow dry ('cept when I'm lazy) and don't want to wash it everyday but then again I don't want to leave the salt in from my sweat. I'll try some of your tips like just rinsing or just conditioning...and the lavender oil - that sounds nice and calming. Thanks ladies!

Every day with a good quality shampoo and conditioner. Once a week with a deep conditioning treatment. As long as my hair is soft and manageable, I'm happy. If I only wash every other day, my hair is limp and feels oily. If I wash more than once a day, it feels brittle.
