Hi. My Name is Audrey and my husband and I just converted our garage into a gym. The only problem is..there are so many exercises that one can do. This morning I was just saying to him that I wish I knew which exercises would be most beneficial and least time consuming. His suggestion to check on the web brought me to this site and Wow I love it!.I have not figured out how to actually chat with anyone yet but I would love to find a workout buddy or two and welcome any tips you long timers might have to help me along.Looking forward to getting to know all on the road to a fit and healthy lifestyle.

I found it by 'accident' too. I was looking around bodybuilding sites for different bodybuilding programs and I think some Arnold Swartz. fan site redirected me here. I was Yahoo searching for about 30 min before that site redirected me.. they should advertise better or something.

hi fan2c.. welcome aboard...I'd like to comment on the home gym I tried doing that once but ended up spending way too much on the equipment and struggled hard to find both space and time for such a tough job...so I decided to go down to a gym with everything I need there (almost)) instead... I still have pairs of dumbells, barbells, benches a punching bag and some other stuff that I miss around with when I can't get to a gym, which is pretty far a way BTW. But go ahead and build that gym don't get me wrong you'd have to so do effeciently though...I mean rather than getting a mahcine or appartaus for each muscle (cam machine)...get a multi-purpose machine that would work more than one muscle for example.

Hi tt-rocker.Thanks for the reply.Well when my now new husband and I moved in together we each had some equipment so together we booted the tools outta the garage and put in our stuff which consists ofa free weights machine, a soloflex, stair climber, stationary Weider gym and treadmill. Now there is no excuse to hit the gym. Take Care

I agree. Well I'm just glad I stumbled on to it and so far I love it. The diet part seems to be a pain in the !@#$ to begin with until you get all your most comsumed foods sorted out but once that is done it's smooth sailing. Take Care
