when you look at the carb, protien, fat etc information before you eat a particular food forgetting about the carb and protien information around how much in grams of saturated and/or mono unsaturated etc fats would you say should be the highest amount in grams (per100g of the food) you should allow yourself to eat if you are doing body building gelson!!!!!!!!!!

Gelson, if you are trying to gain mass (not progressively) then you will probably consume more grams of fat. Based on the goals you have input in your profile, you can use the nutrition guide to help compute the amount of fat you can consume per day. You're putting too much emphasis on this one type of food when you really should think about your overall consumption on a daily basis.
The keys to staying fit (including bodybuilding) is your overall diet coupled with a good exercise regimen (as the ones in the ft programs)!
Good luck!

It's definitely not a key rule (and maybe it's not even good) but I always try to buy food with max 5gr of fat.....
This works for me.

Gleson, remember its the "big picture" when you look at the diet break down. You want to look at your fat for the day. I mean yes we want to watch our fat grams but there are foods you should eat that will break your # of grams rule. Like flax seed oil, lean beef, almonds and walnuts. If you want to add mass you cannot live on lowfat foods alone. When adding mass you can go as high as 30% of your diet fat.(Thats a general rule of course)
