I don't understand the nutrition tracker

Ok, call me ignorant. Can someone explain how to use the fitness tracker? Do you add one item at a time? Under supplement? My upper body has been a killer (at physical therapy)I'll be anxious to actually get back to normal...
Thanks for any help on the nutrition thing.

Welcome to ft, Patty! Are you trying to track what you are consuming daily? If so, the nutrition tracker is great. You add all of your meals you have consumed one at a time for any given day. For example, if you were to add today's meal:

Breakfast:
Calories: 50
Carbs: 75
Protein: 13

Then, enter your lunch, dinner, etc. This will then calculate how much you have consumed for the entire day.

I takes time to fill out all what you have been eating but trust me, it's worth it.

Go to add a meal then add a food and nutrition analyzer.

HI,
Welcome Angie and Patty,

Like Philia said, it's a little time consuming. But I used it faithfully for a month and it kept me right on the money for my targeted goals. It helps to fill this out after each meal or ASAP so you remember what you ate.
Once you get to the tracker, add the foods you commonly eat by clicking on Add a meal and then pick the foods you eat often by adding them to your basket. After you've added them, you can put add them to the meals eat and it adds the totals as you go.
