i am new to this great website!! My goal is to lose 50 lbs, so i am only doing cardio when i go to the gym(which helped me lose 10 lbs since i started, last month). I read that I should include some kind of strenght training into my work out, which I decided to do at home thanks to this helpful website( to shy do to it a the gym!!). Anyway, if anybody has any hints or anyone is in my situation, feel free to write to me. Thanks!! And good luck to everyone in reaching their goals!!

Hello dear queen, the reason why you should include weight training is to tone up your body, avoid the skin dropping too much after the weight loss and to boost up your metabolism so you wont gain any more fat that easily (just to mention some of the good things about training with weights...)

Cardio will just make you burn some calories (and loose fat if you follow a diet) but to shape a beautiful body you need more work with your muscles.

Don't by shy of going to the gym. Just think that YOU are gonna change your body and YOU can do it. Lots of people just stay on the couch at home doing absolutely nothing.

All the best luck to you.

Good luck on your goals. This is a great site for motivational support. You shouldn't feel shy about going to the gym. It is a little intimidating at first, but it gets better. I have lost 30 lbs since December and now I love it. I look forward to working out everyday. Just keep up your motivation and strength training will definitely help you get there.
