Hello
I'm new to the site and have just started my exercise program this week. I am actually after some advice, I did my first lot of weights on Monday and due to do my weights again today, however my muscle are still aching quite a bit, can I still go ahead and do my weights today or do I need to rest them? Any advice anyone could give I would be grateful for.
Thanks:-)

Yes, you can still work them. You will be sore for about the first two weeks before your body gets used to it As long as you haven't torn anything, keep working out. Remember though that you should have a least one rest day each week. If you are a beginner, I recommend at least two rest days. I have been training hard since about Feb and I still get days that I am sore. IT lets you know you got a really good workout.

Thanks Lisa, I was planning on doing weights Monday, Wednesday and Friday and doing about 30 mins of cardio on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, leaving Sundays free, do you think this will be OK or do I need more rest?
