I had my first day in the gym with the new personal program. I was amazed at how weak I am using the cable machine. My program said use it so I did!!! I was determined to finish it out. I will say this. Ive been lifting two years now and doing these simple cable exercises kicked my butt. It took me 45 mins to do 4 different exercises, 3 to 4 sets each. My shoulders do hurt. OUCH. I love it though. Cant wait to see what 12 wks from now brings. Great site here.

The combination of cables, machines and free weights in the 12-week program should definitely be enough to challenge anyone...no matter what level they are.

CC, like Robert said, using a combination of different exercises will give great results. Keep it up and we will be looking for progress from you.

Thank you ALL. I'll post a before and after pic in 12 wks. I am sore..........which is a good thing :)Today was good day in the gym. Eating is still a mess. I'll get that together.....I think writing down everything is going to help. I ate three meals and basically not to much snacking before when I dropped the weight. That was okay then but now its like plateau time for me. Im finding that eating white flour in any form is not a good thng for me. Seems to sit in my stomach area, under my arms, and on the back of my arm. Yikes.......I dont want those hanging things there!!! Any suggestions on eating like 6 - 8 meals would be healthy. Once again thanks for the comments they encourage and do help. DAY 3 tomorrow. :)

Hey CC, I know you can reach your goals if you can sqeeze a little commitment out. In any case, exercise is the hardest part for me, but still doing it. I would like to improve, but i also realized in building lean body mass, and losing body fat%, your diet is extremely important. Almost as important as the exerciseing. I keep a daily journal to track my figures which helps. It is easy to stray when you don't chart. But as you go, it will get easier. I have seen some pretty inspirational profiles on this web site, and know that I too can do it, and so can you. We can make our way with the help of FT. They are great! Good Luck

Welcome cc, I know you can do it. Say you need 2000 cal, 6x a day. Shoot for 300-335 a meal which is well balanced. Eat the carbs in the morning so you burn it off. It took me a while to adjust to eating so often, now its kind of second nature. If I do not eat around the time I normally do, my stomach sure lets me know. I kind of like the soreness it lets me know I did accomplish something.
