I've been on here for only a few days but from what I've seen, the program works very well. There are a lot of very knowledgeable people here.

You would do well to set yourself up with a 3 day a week weight loss/fat loss training program and use that plus cardio to get yourself started, then use a sensible diet of 5-6 small meals a day, keeping your calories down around 1200 per day.

1200 is kinda low, but it also depends on how much you weight right now (if you're 5 ft tall then maybe that would be okay for you). Building muscle will definitely help you burn fat, but diet and discipline are key.

hi mzzkay,

this site is definitely working, i have been losing an average of 1 - 1.5 lbs per week. my boyfriend went down in weight as well and i am starting to see form in my arms again. so yest it works!! but in order for it to work right you have to stick with the program, both diet and exercise are exremely important for reaching the goals you have. good luck and if you need anything, we'll be here to help you!
