Been going to the gym for 6 weeks, 40 mins treadmill walking, 20 mins weights (weights not on consecutive days) 2/3 times a week, lost approx 10lbs, when will it start to show? I'm working really hard!!Got 6 (Gulp!) stones to loose.

Sorry, Im in Canada eh! I'm not sure what a stone is. But anyway you will see results. You said you lost 10 lbs so that good results. Keep at it and be patient, also persistant like you are now.

Welcome and just give it some more time. The best way to loose weight is to do it slowly, you have a better chance to keep it off that way.

welcome to FT Frostie, as is everything else in the way of life, time, time, time. keep with the program, and you will eventually see results, peoples bodies are different so some see if faster than others, for example, my boyfriend sees weight loss faster than i do, but i see more definition in my arms quicker then he....
good luck and ask a lot of questions!!
