Hi I just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Pat(ricia). I just received my certification as a Personal Trainer Specialist from Can-Fit Pro. But First just a bit of background...I was always quite an overweight person (otherwise healthy) Until I changed my life a couple years back and have gone from 230+lbs (>50%bf)to 140lbs @ 27%bf (5'6")(Holiday munching has caused me to put a few pounds on but that's ok....it will be gone soon.) I am not yet at my final goal (and I know to some 140@27% seems high....but compared to where I was it is much better and getting better all the time) My dream is now to help other women who have more than just that last 10-15 pounds to lose. Having done it I know it can be done and I can totally relate to the mentality and low self esteem one has when you think it is hopeless (when you lose 15 pounds and you can't visually tell). So now I have one certification (and a few years experience applying knowledge on myself) and I plan to take a nutrition certification course in the New Year. So, anyways that is just a bit about me and why I joined this board and many other fitness related ones. Any info I can absorb is very helpful. Thanks for listening!! Happy Holidays. Pat

-------------- Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit. - -- Aristotle
