Hello everyone My name is Donn and I live in South Carolina but I am from San Diego, CA. I started working out when I was 18 and worked out till I joined bootcamp 6 months later. I didn't pick it up again till I was 24 and worked out for about 1.5 years and stopped again when I moved cross country to my next duty station. I recently picked it up again about 4 months ago. This is my third crack at working out. I am little wiser and a little calmer at the age of 31. I plan on making this a lifelong commitment. When I was younger I used working out for cosmetic reasons but now that I am 31 I use it to not only look better but to feel better because I have noticed how much it has improved my health.
I am 6'3 and currently 220 lbs. When I started 4 months ago I was 187 lbs. I am pretty happy with the gain. I want to weigh about 230-240. My mass diet and weight lifting program has been pretty successful and was quite close to the one recomended on this site. I am going to start using the nutrition and exercise program on this site starting Monday, December 30th. I am going to use it for 3 months and then begin my cardio and lean-out phase. I have gained a few extra pounds of fat due to the weight gain but I am much more muscular than when I strarted four months ago. I love this site, especially the nutrional information because I can now better monitor my calorie, fat, carb and protein intake so much faster and easier. To me this is invaluable. This site rocks, I am hooked!
