Hello everyone!! I am a June Bride-to-be trying to lose the 20 pounds I have somehow gained over the past 6 months!! I work at night and generally spend my days sleeping, which means that I am not as active as I could be...I needs LOTS of motivation to keep me from being a BED potatoe!!!

Hi JCs...
You welcome to FT ;) I will say the first thing is the motivation. YOUR wedding :) and the second is the mindset. One of those hours in your day...make it be working out. And those potatoes no no no no. ;) I have alot of friends getting married and Ive seen their wonderful progress. They look gorgeous in that dress. But they are in the gym or on the street running, walking and watching the diet. You can do it. Oh send invitations :) lol by means of a pic and then the progress youve accomplished. We'll be lookin for you in the dress :) Good luck girl. CC

Hi CC!!! Well, the best part about our wedding in Vegas is that it will be broadcast live over the internet!! So there will be plenty of folks out there able to catch it!!

I hear all that you are saying I have made some pretty strong resolutions, based upon my faith, for the New Year. I just wish that I could get into the groove of excercising with being on the night shift. If we have a quiet night (I work in an Operating Room) then I am not too tired when I get home..but if we have been slammed then all I want to do is SLEEP!!! I do get up around 2:00 p.m. when my kids get out of school, but it is almost like I am sleep-walking then!! That is prolly the ideal time for me to excercise though, huh???

Hi and welcome to a great site. My ex used to work at a hospital that offered to the staff time to workout in the physical therapy room. Do you have that option?????

Hahaha I know that sleep walking feeling Girl. :) But yes that would probably be the best time. I have found that if I make it part of my day. Its like work, the kids, meetings, anything that demands my time I fit that workout in. But I make it a schedule...just like work. I do it cause basically I feel better to go to work and I feel better because Im fitting into some great looking clothes :) Good Luck and I wanna know that site :)
