Probably have heard this question a million times, but here goes...through exercise and eating right (not after 6pm, 64oz water daily and alternate running 2mi and aerobics 4 or 5 times a week, I lost 20 pounds in the last calendar year (2001 to 2002). I had a baby the year before and had some to lose. Now I have about 10 more to go before my first 5K race (in 5 wks) and I can't lose it for anything! It seems I am stuck. Is this what a plateau is? I would love to be between 120, 122 but am stuck at 130 no matter what I do lately. Any suggestions???

Thanks for response. I use 5lb hand weights with aerobics twice a week, and work out (cardio) at least 4 times a week, about 25-35 at a time. Should I lengthen the workouts to an hour, or 45 mins?
I would like to drop a size in 4 or 5 weeks for the 5K that's coming up. Any ideas on how to kick my metabolism into gear?

i would suggest you implement some weight training in that, it is good to combine the two. It won't make you look bulky or anything like that. have you checked out the weight loss and tone definition program in the "FT Exercise Resources"? If not, check it out, it might be useful to you. Good luck!
-------------- Bettia.... When you feel like giving up, take it to the limit one more time!! You will SUCEED :-)
