Hi, I am new to this. I am leaving for a cruise with my boyfriend in 3 weeks and would like to lose 5-6 lbs. by then.
Does anyone know a way where I can lose 5-6 lbs. quickly (in 3 weeks)?
Any help is welcome!

Partly depends on your metabolism. You have to regulate your diet and do lots of cardiovascular exercising. Do cardio 3 times per week, start off by doing 30 – 45 minutes the first day, then add about 5 minutes every training day. That should do the trick.

welcome to freetrainers sachan007. That can easily be done with lots of cardio and a clean diet. But I would rather recommend weight training along with cardio to get a better look. Might not lose pounds, seeing that muscle weighs more than fat, but at the same time you will tone up the fat you are losing. Good luck!

I've always been amazed by all those people who want to loose weight that fast. It took time to put on weight now to get rid of it will take time as well. Of course you can loose up to 10 lbs in one week but that will just be water and muscle.... Anyway, you got three weeks and if you stay serious you'll be able to do some wonders. You weight train?

atkins can help take off the weight pretty quickly. if you can't stick to that lower you caloric intake and start eating 5-6 meals a day every 2-3 hours. this will speed up your metabolism. if you want to lose one lb you must burn 3500 calories so if you burn 7000 calories in a week in three weeks you will lose 6 lbs (1-2 lbs a week is a healthy amount of loss). you can do this by looking at a fitness calculator and seeing how much calories anyone of your favorite exercises burn and combine it with a low (around 300-500)reduction in caloric intake. the best exercise to burn a lot of calories is jumping rope especially boxer style. combine this with some time on a cycle or running. early morning is best and before you eat breakfast this will start body on burning fat since it was in starvation mode all night and needs fuel. good luck.
