Just start working out with the FT program, used Body for life for a year and a half and got bored lost about 35 lbs though. Just wondering in looking at the first weeks workout set up under lossing body weight and muscle definiation it seems to me the workouts are kinda short, I mean way short i find myself finding other machines and exercises to do after finishing the FT workout because I am done in about 30 minutes. anyone else have this happen? maybe its just me the BFL workout kept me in the gym between 45 minutes to an hour depending on the type of exercises. Is there a reason these are set up this way or am I doing something wrong?

I tried to update my profile but it doesn't seem to take anyway my question is on workouts, my legs workout for monday for example is leg extensions and single machine leg curls. that's it. nothing else how can FT call that a workout. i'd be out of the gym in about 15 minutes. I am listed in the loss fat and gain muscle category, this hardly seems like a workout, after a week I am getting discouraged and am looking at my old BFL workouts to go back to. Any ideas?

Yes, the FT programs are short, but they do work. The key is to get the best in that time frame. My workouts usually lasted about 30-45 minutes. I saw awesome results and I am sure that you will too.

Welcome to ft. Yes some parts of the program are short and some are longer. Depends on what you are doing and on what day. Good Luck.
