I have heard a lot of people say that to boost your metabolism, you should eat 5 or 6 small meals throughout the day. I was wondering if someone could give me some good examples of healthy small meals that I can eat. Also, are there other ways I can boost my metabolism? Thanks.

egg whites for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch, lean meat based dinner and in between two protein shakes (need to have some carbs from the shake too). so basically each meal has protein and carbs. eat low fat so you don't need to count that too much. these 5 meals should be equal parts of the protein you eat in a day. say you need 2000 cals a day. 50-40-10 split of this would be 1000 cals carb, 800 cals protein. so 800 divided by 5 is 160 cals or 40 grams of protein per meal. 1000 divided by 5 is 200 cals or 50 grams of carbs. vital to get protein in each meal. last meal should be 2-4 hours before you sleep or generally don't eat after 8 p.m.
