Hey, just found this site today and am pretty excited to get started. I havent been what I call physically fit in 12 years or so. Back then I had trained with the USMC lifeguard teams, so I have alot of work to do!

Love the information and the service provided here! Thank you!

hi jhadams, welcome to freetrainers! if you are looking for advice on how to train, you came to the right place! take some time to research what this site has to offer. it has an extensive amount of valuable information that you can apply to your fitness goals. Good luck and if you have any specific questions, try posting them in the forums that apply. Also, please fill out your profile so we can get to know you a little better.

Good luck!

Ok, updated! :) Can't do pics for some reason, will try that later.

Quick question (maybe the wrong place?) on the general workout, I am looking to get a starting weight for things like bench, etc. I can't remember the percentage I am looking for, but I seem to remember something about figuring max weight (saw the calculator for it) then a percentage of that should be your working weight, like 70% or 80%??

Thanks
