I'm sure most of you guy know it... but what if I stop.. will all the muscle gains made by it disappear.. I heard about that and i don't know if i'm going to have to take creatine for the rest of my life to at least keep the same muscle mass. Amr

I read somewhere that if your protein intake is good while on creatine, and after you stop, that you will keep a good portion of your muscle and streangth. After I went off I kept most of my muscle but I was eating well at the time. I did lose a bit of power though.

Most of the size you lose will be from lost water that was drawn into the cells. Most people on creatine see a 10# weight gain due to this cellular shift of water. Actual muscle size gains made training should not be lost though you do see decreased size due to water loss. Theories vary on creatine cycling to control creatnine(byproduct)levels. Since no long telrm studies completed its up in the air.

Well friend, my partner used creatine once.....i remember after he used it and finished a course, his performance did go down a bit after it went up really high during the course.....but he did not lose it entirely. You will still have enough gains to keep on your body after a finished course. uttiya
