what is the best overall supplement you people like to take before working out?

Multi-vitamin upon waking. Work out and drink around 64oz. of water. Skim milk and whey protein shake after with a complete BCAA supp and glutamine.

best supplement to take 'before working out' would be a thermogenic.. or a stimulant such as coffee to give you that boost. Some people do not need this. Basically you should take in some simple carbs about 30-45 minutes prior to your workout for energy. Post workout be sure to take you glutamine + creatine.. followed by more carbs and protein aprox. 30-45 minutes later.
