As I am getting older, it seems harder to recover. Is there any supplements that really help the recovery process?

besides a good multi, i have found glutamine to really help with recovery. and dont forget your protein, carbs, fats, water, and lots of rest!

Go on nu-care.com. that place will give you some supplements that will help your recovery. Also try bodybuilding.com.

I found creatine and protein shakes help me recover faster. Of course, there's no replacing good 'ol fashioned rest and sleep.

Also think about the training you do. The time you need to rest after work out depends on the size of muscles and if it's the fast or the slow muscle fibres you have used.
What program are you following?

Also an esay thing, try to eat a banana (with your glutamine and vitamine C) just after finished workout (and then protein source after). This can also help to recuperate faster.....

Luck to you.

If you have trouble sleeping try ZMA, not expensive and helps sleep and recovery.
